Who we are
We are Bedworth Guttering, at bedworthguttering.co.uk. This policy explains how Bedworth Guttering ("we", "us") handles personal information.

What this site does
Bedworth Guttering helps homeowners get quotes from local contractors. We don't carry out any work ourselves. Quote requests are handled by Leads Do Work Ltd, which passes them to local contractors.
Quote requests
The quote form on this site is provided by Leads Do Work Ltd, 97 Alderley Road, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 1PT. When you fill it in:
- what you type goes directly to Leads Do Work, which decides how it is used
- Leads Do Work passes your details to up to four local contractors who cover your area and type of job
- those contractors contact you by phone (including automated calls), text or email with quotes
- Leads Do Work and each contractor are responsible for your information under their own privacy policies

We don't receive the contact details you type into the form. Leads Do Work does show us the name of each person who makes an enquiry through this site, in our account dashboard on its system. We use names only to keep track of enquiries and the fees Leads Do Work pays us for them, under our legitimate interest in running this site. We don't use your name to contact you, and we don't share it or keep a copy outside that dashboard. Leads Do Work pays us a fee for enquiries made through this site.
Answers to our quick questions
Before the form, we may ask a few quick questions about your job, such as when you need the work done. Your answers stay in your browser while you're on the page and are not sent to us. When you open the quote form, they're added to its description box so the contractors can see them. They only leave your device if you submit the form, and you can edit or delete them before you do.
Information collected when you visit
Our website host, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is needed to deliver the site to you and protect it from attacks. We use it under our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It doesn't use cookies. We use this information under our legitimate interest in improving the site.
Some pages show a weather forecast for the local area. We fetch the forecast for the town ourselves, so nothing about you is sent to the weather provider.
Where your information is processed
Cloudflare runs a worldwide network, so technical information may be processed outside the UK. Where that happens, it is protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires.
How long we keep it
Cloudflare keeps server logs for a short period for security, in line with its own retention policies. Names shown in our Leads Do Work dashboard stay there for as long as Leads Do Work keeps them under its own policy; we don't keep a separate copy. If you email us, we keep the email for up to 12 months and then delete it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to how we use it, or ask for a copy in a portable format. To make a request, email [email protected]. We'll reply within one month.
We can only see your name. For the rest of the information you gave in a quote request, contact Leads Do Work or the contractor who got in touch with you, as they hold it. If you're not sure who to contact, email us and we'll help.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
